To make casino blackjack, you must start with a table, a few players and a dealer. From a “shoe” dispenser, each player will be dealt a pair of cards. The dealer must also receive two cards. The first thing that must be done is to look and see if you have a “blackjack” hand. A blackjack hand is simply a hand that totals 21. (An Ace and a ten point card).

If you do not have a “blackjack” hand, you must then make an effort to beat the dealer. This can be done in one of two ways in casino blackjack. The first way to beat the dealer is to get a hand that is worth more than his. This can be risky though, because you run the risk of busting (going over 21). The second option is to wait the dealer out until he busts. This is a little more conservative method, but equally as effective.
